With the new Federal Act on the Transparency of Legal Entities and the Identification of Beneficial Owners (TLEA) entering into force on 1 October 2026, Switzerland will introduce a central transparency register. For most companies, this means new reporting obligations as well as ongoing duties to keep the registered information up to date.
